Tanjung Puting National Park offers an extraordinary eco-tourism adventure where travelers immerse themselves in the pristine rainforests of Borneo. Above all, visitors have the rare privilege of observing wild orangutans thriving up close in their natural habitat.

Did you know? To navigate the meandering jungle waterways of Central Kalimantan, the traditional wooden riverboat known as the klotok serves as the primary mode of transportation. Today, its role has evolved remarkably. To accommodate adventurers from every corner of the globe, klotoks are outfitted with comfortable cabins, transforming these 14-to-20-meter vessels into delightful 'floating homes.' Departing from Pangkalan Bun, the klotok initially glides down the Arut River, lined with traditional wooden stilt houses, before turning onto the Kumai River and eventually navigating the tranquil, black-water Sekonyer River deep into the heart of Tanjung Puting.
